ANALYSIS OF THE WEEK

The main objective of this week is to introduce a new prose to the students " A DAY IN THE COUNTRY". As entry activity I presented videos that themes helping mentality among students. I also tried to communicate the main theme of the story-'nature as the mentor and guide' and even focused on the different gifts that nature gives us to comfort us.The theme of the story "A day in the country" by Anton Chekhov is all about the creation. How good and wonderful it is. And it is also about making friends. We have a lot of inspiring stories. These help us to get inspired and never lose our hopes. That also might lead us to success.

For activity section in this week I introduced different grammar topic like compound words, kinds of Adjectives like Adjective of Quality,  Adjective of Quantity,  Adjective of number, Demonstrative Adjective and Interrogative Adjective and also Subject and Predicate in a sentence. I could present the chapter by highlighting difficult words and could pose questions to all students to check their comprehension level. Students responded well to all portions in a good way. I could complete the chapter by Thursday and conducted a short revision section during Friday by working out model question paper as well as previous years questions. I also tried to do a thorough revision by making the students to go through all the main areas and  made the students to do profile construction, editing work and diary entry. I covered all the portions and prepared the students to attend well for the exam. My next motive was to revise the major portions that was dealt in the class like profile construction and character sketch.
