      FIRST SHOWERS

As I returned from my journey
cool drops kissed my parched face
soon the first showers caught me unawares
and soaked me, soothing my frayed nerves
The weary lines did it promptly erase
of daylong heat and fatigue from my visage
wet cloths clung to my body like an infant
To it's mother blossom; unsteady my gait
The dusty trees stood bathed in an instant
Dressed in washed green looked magnificent
The scented earth resplendent in dampened glory
sucked in dust giving respite to the travelers weary
To thank the rain god I looked up in the sky
More drops drenched me on the sly
Marveling at this wonderful gift of nature
I hurried home wading through the gurgling water.

    ANALYSIS

Today i presented a new poem" First Showers" to my students. I used ICT integrated classroom which actually instilled me to say a more about the theme of the poem because the students was more curious to listen about the wonderful aspect of nature especially rain. I also said in detailed about the Kerala flood which has created alot of destruction in our economic stability as well as many people lost their lives due to this. Students also shared their experience of their first shower. Everything went in a smooth way expect the textual activity session i think i need to improve the way i present the activities to grab the attention of students.

    MISSION

To present textual activity in a better way to engage the students in teaching learning process.
