"INTRODUCE YOURSELF"

ANALYSIS OF THE CLASS

Today i planned to test my student's ability to edit passages in English. I gave them a passage at first then asked them to read the passage line by line by understanding the meaning of each sentences. Then provided even assistance to the one who showed indifference to this activity. It was interesting as it made the students to think as well as to act. After presenting this activity i switched on multiple choice question to reinforce student's knowledge.

Our school management has organized special classes to the students who stand weak in language and science subjects so English being the first class I supposed to handle the students from 3 to 3.30pm then after that shahna and nimisha also joined with me to support the students. 

The first activity i did was "INTRODUCE YOURSELF" wherein i presented a short introduction about myself pointing about my qualification, personal details and interest level then asked each students to come up with their self introduction and then students to wrote a short profile of them under my assistance. After this section i asked the students to draw a sun diagram to mark the things which they see around them. Then i also taught them running letters.

When nimisha and shahna came we divided the students into two groups i focused on 10th standard and taught them to construct sentences and the difference between sentence and a phrase.
